Two of the four counts were dropped, as previously mentioned.<br /><br />In the Laughrin case, he has plead not guilty. <br /><br />Manikowski is starting an appeal. For the four (4) counts of selling heroin, two (2) were dropped. The remaining two, he received five (5) years each. That is a total of 17 years.<br /><br />On top of that, he has 17 years of extended supervision.<br /><br />If you read the criminal complaint, three (3) of the four (4) times, he had this undercover informant come to his house to pick him up or drop him off before or after the drug deal. From experience, this was a high traffic drug house and neighbors had similar problems with lack of police detail, as did the neighbors in the 4800 Block of Berkeley Blvd. Two MAJOR drug houses, a block apart.<br /><br />I would also like to mention that it was Wauwatosa Police that set up the Manikowski sting.
